What have we been up to this week?
On Science day, Year 6 took part in an experiment to investigate micro-organisms. We were trying to find out if Yeast is a living organism. We conducted an experiment involving a yeast mixture and observed that the balloon on top of the bottle inflated with Carbon Dioxide, therefore demonstrating that yeast respires and is in fact a living organism.
