What have we been up to this week?
In Geography, Year 6 have been studying Amelia Earhart’s final flight around the globe. Firstly, we learnt about the key features of the globe including the equator and the tropics of Cancer and Capricorn. We labelled this onto a map as well as latitude and longitude. After this, we used our Atlas skills to plot Amelia’s journey across a world map. We then labelled the mountain ranges, rivers and deserts Amelia would have flown over.
