What have we been up to this week?
Year 6 spent Thursday taking part in an amazing WWII workshop. They learnt all about the role of the ARP, how they delivered first aid and practised lifting each other on stretchers. Pupils also used real stirrup pumps to put out fires and explored a range of WWII artefacts. In the afternoon, pupils listened to an exciting presentation on the key events of WWII and learnt how many casualties each Allied and Axis country endured by the end of the war.
