What have we been up to this week?
In Design and Technology, Year 5 learnt about Middle Eastern and Danish diets before making a flatbread and garlic butter, Smorrebrod (a Danish open sandwich) and finally a Mezze bowl. The children had to select the ingredients they would use and think carefully about how to present these in an aesthetically pleasing way. The children learnt how to prepare their vegetables safely by ribboning, dicing, slicing and grating them.
