What have we been up to this week?
This week, Class 14 have been learning about how a hinge mechanism works. We have looked at the features of a hinge, different types of hinges and the suitability of hinges for different products.
We have also had a go at making a range of simple hinges using different materials. To conclude this unit, we made a suitable hinge for a gift box and calendar.
