What have we been up to this week?
Year 4 have been busy in their music lessons learning to play the recorder. So far, they have learnt how to hold the recorder properly and how to play different notes – G, A and B. This week, the children learnt two new notes – high C and D. They have been busy practising simple tunes to perform together as a class. The children can now confidently play Joe Joe and Hot Cross Buns. Some children from Year 4 also had the opportunity to show off their talent at Melbourne House when they performed at the old people’s home.
