What have we been up to this week?
The week in Year 3 the children have been learning about light. Through various investigations, they learnt that they need light to see things and that dark is the absence of light. They noticed that light is reflected from surfaces. They recognised that light from the sun can be dangerous and that there are ways to protect themselves from it. They also learnt that shadows are formed when the light from a light source is blocked by an opaque object. Finally, they found patterns in the way that the size of shadows change.
