What have we been up to this week?
This week in year 3, the children have been playing the glockenspiel. They have learnt to read and place notes on a stave. They learnt the pneumonic Every Good Boy Deserves Fruit (which they changed to Football as they simply liked it more 😊) and FACE to help them read and place them. They also learnt about bars, bar lines and treble clef. They practised playing short musical pieces on the glockenspiel and were very good at playing as an ensemble!
