What have we been up to this week?
Following last week’s successful Sports Day, the Year 1 children have turned their sporty hands to our usual favourite: Co Jo! They have had to work cooperatively to transport hot porridge (actually, harmless, plastic balls!) to Mama Bear’s big bowl. Cooperative physical challenges like this build fantastic teamwork within the children. It’s also an opportunity to understand how to express instructions, directions and mistakes. All three classes put a super effort in. It’s a fantastic quality that they have all show and will lead them in good stead for Year 2. Nearly there!
