What have we been up to this week?
What a busy week we have had in Year 1! In between assessments, class swaps and sports day, we have manged to fit in a visit to the amazing White Post Farm! Our budding mini-farmers were absolute superstars. They petted rabbits and guinea pigs. Looked at shed snake skin and tarantula skin. Hand-fed very noisy goats. Waved to some birds of prey. Walked through hot retile house which had a huge, yellow snake and an alligator. Stood like the meerkats and watched an armadillo run around his pen. It was a brilliant visit and everyone at Year 1 would like to thank White Post Farm for their wonderful hospitality. We’re sure the children will be back to visit soon!
