What have we been up to this week?
This week the children in Year 1 have dressed up as their favourite phonics sound! We had lots of digraphs and phonemes represented including a builder for ‘er er better letter’, a nurse for ‘ur ur nurse with a purse’ and a cowgirl for ‘ow ow brown cow’. It was fantastic to hear the children tell the staff what sound they were dressed up as.
