What have we been up to this week?
This week in Year 1 the children have been learning to catch and throw tennis balls. They practised balancing the balls first, then doing small catches, progressing to catching whilst moving. The children then worked in pairs to throw the ball to each other to catch. They got better and better as they practised; soon they will be able to play ball games such as netball!
