What have we been up to this week?
This week Year 1 has been learning about the life cycle of a chicken. The children were able to observe real eggs hatch into baby chicks and even enjoyed holding them. Happy Hens came in to teach the children about how to care for chickens. The Year 1 children loved having them in our classrooms and even gave them all names!
