What have we been up to this week?
In PE, Year 1 are practising skills for their sports day. They have been perfecting their running, balancing, and throwing skills to be at their very best for the event later this term.
In addition, in Maths the children have been learning about direction – left, right, clockwise, anticlockwise, full turn, half turn and quarter turn. Can you use directional language to get from one place to another?
In literacy, Year 1 are learning a new non-fiction text about chickens. They are becoming chicken experts!
