What have we been up to this week?
This week Year 1 have been investigating measure in their maths work. They are becoming experts at measuring in centimetres (cm) and cubes. Why don’t you ask them to measure an object at home!
In literacy, Year 1 have started to learn a different genre of writing – instructional texts. They have been learning a recipe text and have learnt it using actions! Ask them how to make pirate soup!
