What have we been up to this week?
The children have had a flying return in their first week back after Easter. Great effort Year 1! This week has seen the start of a new topic for our Ambleside Authors in Training programme: character descriptions. The pupils have said hello to everyone’s favourite amber dragon, Zog. We have already had some acting, understanding of what makes a character interesting, and some fantastic handwriting. The Year 1 team are looking forward to what good ideas the children will use when they get to sprinkle some sparkle on their writing.
