What have we been up to this week?
This week, Year 1 have been sewing, poking, and threading! We have been untangling the challenging world of textiles in art class. Classes 4, 5 & 6 have had great fun with this new skill, and we reckon we have a few potential tailors and seamstresses amongst us! The tasks included poking fabric into cardboard to create a flower as well as threading material through a fabric grid to make colourful patterns. We will definitely see some of the Year 1 pupils on the Great British Sewing Bee in the near future.
