What have we been up to this week?
This week has seen reception have a gentle introduction to our new story Stella and The Seagull. It’s a story with a positive message about recycling at its heart. It’s a tale that always grabs the children’s attention and it offers lots and lots of learning opportunities. The children will be learning about recycling and the environment in the next few weeks. There will be discussions of how to be responsible with litter and we will be learning about materials. One such material is plastic. The children will have plenty to learn as they come to understand the uses and dangers of plastic.
