What have we been up to this week?
The first week back after the half term holiday has been really busy. The children have put in an amazing effort to settle into their usual routine. It is impressive to see how much the children take schoolwork in their stride, even after a week’s break. They’re showing real learning spirit and look Year 1 ready! Take, for example, our sports day preparations: The children have sensibly followed instructions and maturely worked in teams to achieve their goals. They’re enjoying the tasks that they’ve been practicing and they’ve shown so much growth in their skills. Talking of growth, our resident caterpillars have done their own growing up; they’re now butterflies! The children have shown such sensible attitudes with the butterflies. They have watched the beautiful bugs and have been able to discuss them with each other and the adults. It has been lovely to see.
