What have we been up to this week?
Spring is in the air! Reception have celebrated the coming of spring with Science Week. It started with a Science Stay & Play in which parents were invited to join reception in some fun science activities. Also at the beginning of the week, the children planted some cress seeds. The children are excited about them growing. This has tied in with a lot of science activities around biology. We have drawn daffodils over a couple of days so the children could observe the flowers opening. We’ve had some wonderful drawings. Best part is, it has tied in really well with the beanstalk from our current story.
