What have we been up to this week?
Classes 1, 2 & 3 have continued to keep warm during this chilly week! We’ve kept our brains warm by experimenting with scales in maths and learning our Chatter Matter words. Whilst, in PE, dancing with movement and expression has kept our bodies warm. Dancing with movement and expression allows the children to be introduced to tricky music terminology such as ‘tempo’. It also builds physical discipline as we follow the rules of the dance. The children suggest the dance moves so they feel very involved with the creation of the dance. Most importantly, it is a really fun session that is enjoyed by all the children and staff. The song this week was the classic ‘Nellie the Elephant’. And we finished with the children’s favourite ‘Sleeping Bunnies’.
