What have we been up to this week?
Week 7 and we’ve finally reached the end of the first half term. Well done to Classes 1, 2 & 3 who have worked so hard these past few weeks. Starting Foundation is like diving into the sea, it can be daunting at first but once you’re in, you don’t want to come out! So then, it is very apt that we’ve had a special visit from the staff at our local RNLI this week. It is always a fantastic and educational visit. The children all sat amazingly as a whole year group and we learned about water safety, not getting lost on busy beaches, and recognising lifeguards and their uniform. The RNLI team always do a great job and we’re lucky to have them in discussing such an important subject. The children had great fun and a brilliant treat to finish off before the half term holiday.
