What have we been up to this week?
This week in the EYFS the children have thoroughly enjoyed recreating the island of spice and gold from our spotlight story ‘The Treasure of Pirate Frank’. The creation has been born out of a retelling of the story, where the children have recalled all the landmarks chronicled in the book. These include the sea, the forest, the muddy swamp, the volcano with ascending steps and even a bridge to where the treasure lies. The children are excited to watch the volcano erupt, and this has been planned to happen on Friday 21st July.
