What have we been up to this week?
This week in the EYFS the children have been learning all about ‘growing’. They have explored what plants need to grow and they have planted their own cress seeds in the provision. The children were excited to lay down cotton wool as a bed to grow the cress on and they have watered it each day. There has been a great deal of excitement in watching leaves appear from the seeds on a daily basis. This has proven to the children that plants need water, light and air to grow.
