What have we been up to this week?
This week the Nursery children have taken part in a fascinating experiment, which involved mixing blue food colouring, vinegar and bicarbonate of soda. We used a pipette to squirt some vinegar onto the bicarbonate of soda ‘icebergs’ and watched as the mixture frothed. We commented on what we could see happening and talked about what might happen if we added more or less vinegar. It was very messy and lots of fun!
