English work this half term:
This half term we will be continuing to explore a variety of writing styles. This will include revisiting poetry in order to consolidate learning from the spring term, in the form of shape poems. As well as this, children will be delving deeper into their carnivals, fairgrounds and theme parks topic by creating non-chronological reports on Alton Towers and Drayton Manor. The reports will take the format of visitor guides. The children will also have the opportunity to write an explanation text.
