Principal’s message
As we move into the summer months, and improved weather, we have adjusted our curriculum and routines so that the children benefit from learning outdoors, and beyond the classroom. This will benefit both mental and physical wellbeing, as well as increase children’s knowledge and skills.
We have already had adventure days on the field; as well as ‘Commando Joe’ challenge missions, all of which contribute to building children’s character strength. The Year 1 children have visited Stonebridge Farm and Reception children will soon be going for a day out to Wollaton Park. We have also sent out letters to see who will be joining us for the Big Year 2 Sleepover when we will make full use of our fabulous school grounds for sporting and play activities.
